Independence Swim Championship

In celebration of St. Lucia 37^th Independence Anniversary the St. Lucia Amateur Swimming Association will host its Independence Swim Championship this weekend.

This one day meet opened to all age groups is scheduled for this Sunday February 28^th at the Rodney Heights Aquatic Center in Rodney Bay. The Independence Swim Championship is expected to attract well over 120 swimmers from across the island who are working towards improving their times. All events will be swam according to seed times regardless of age group or gender, however swimmers will be ranked according to age group and gender in tabulating the final results.

The meet will also serve as a final opportunity for swimmers to swim qualifying times for eligibility to represent St. Lucia in the XXXI Carifta Swim Championship scheduled in Martinique from March 22^nd to the 26^th.

The general public is invited to attend.
