17th Fina Worlds Championship on St.Lucia Amateur Swimming Association Agenda

Hungary will host the 17th FINA World Championships or World Aquatics Championships from July 14th to 30th. Six disciplines: swimming, water polo, open water swimming, synchronized swimming, diving and high diving will be on display.

The championships will have over 2300 athletes from 180 Federations participating.

Jayhan Odlum Smith and Jean Luc Zephir of the Sea Jays Swim Club and Mikaili Charlemagne of Sharks Swim Club have been the chosen to represent St. Lucia at the meet.

Odlum Smith will compete in 50 meter and 100 meter Fly, Zephir 50 meter and 100 meter Free and Charlemagne 50 meter and 100 meter Free.

The team is expected to leave St. Lucia on the 19th July and return 2nd August 2017. The swimmers will be accompanied by Constance Renee and Coach Brian Charles.
