St. Lucia Amateur Swimming Association Introduces Yasmin Tyson As Its Newest Executive Member

 

Post election of a new SLASA Executive the Post of Aquatic Development remained vacant. As per the constitution, the Elected Members would be charged with the responsibility of appointing a suitable candidate to fill the post.

 

Yasmin Tyson the best suitable candidate was invited and accepted the position.

 

She brings to the table qualifications in FINA Swimming for All Swimming for Life held in Bangkok, Thailand; FINA Water Polo Level 1 Introductory; FINA Swimming Level 2 Certificate and PASO Continental Technical Course in Swimming in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

 

Ms Tyson also participated in PASO Swimming Clinic in Indianapolis, Indiana, U.S.A., attained a ASCA International LEVELS 1, 2, 3, 4 & 5; Olympic Solidarity Sponsored Certificate in Intermediate Coaching; Diploma in Physical Education specializing in swimming Certified Level 1 & 2 and is a Certified Advance Level Swimming Coach.

 

She is also a Certified Volunteer Swimming Coach with Special Olympics International, and a Certified Swimming Instructor for St. Lucia Amateur Swimming Association.

 

The St. Lucia Amateur Swimming Association welcomes Yasmin and looks forward to her contribution to the development of swimming in St. Lucia.
