Jayhan Odlum Smith gets ready to put his best strokes to the test at the Youth Olympic Games!
The journey commenced two years ago where two swimmers namely Jayhan Odlum Swim and Terrel Monplaisir were earmarked to represent St. Lucia at the 2018 Youth Olympic games.
Athletes between the ages of 14 to 18 will get the opportunity to live their dreams with the possible hope of getting closer to qualifying for the 2020 Olypmics.
Through the support of the St. Lucia Olympic Committee a final decision was made and Jayhan became the successful candidate to make this representation in Beunos Aires, Argentina October 6th to 18th.
He will swim in the 50 Fly and 100 Freestyle.
Jayhan will be accompanied by his Coach Brian Charles who expects that this experience will bring out the best in him.
Saint Lucia Amateur Swimming Association wishes Jayhan all the best on his experience and looks forward to the results he hopes to achieve.
